Description
Step 1: Clean Chain and Chain Rings
Using your Drivetrain Cleaner spray the chain and rings while rotating the pedal backwards, continue until the chain is saturated. Then using your Muck Monkey, brush the chain using the varying bristles to remove drive, rust and dirt build up. Apply a second blast of Drivetrain Cleaner to remove all loosened debris from the chain.
Step 2: Clean Frame, Forks and Wheels
Grab your Snow Foam and spray onto the painted parts of the bike like the frame, forks and wheels. Using a clean cloth and your Muck Monkey wipe away and scrub to remove all dirt leaving you with a lovely clean finish.
Step 3: Lubricate
Cycle Maintenance Spray is the perfectly formulated cycling spray to loosen stiff components such as cables, linkages and forks. Spray directly onto stiff or corroded areas and allow to penetrate before moving the components to free. You can also use your Maintenance Spray to give your plastic parts some shine.
Back to your chain, shake your bottle of All Weather Lube well to mix (area remaining in bottle is for mixing space). Apply to the inside of the links and rotate the chain backwards, two to three full chain rotations will allow for complete coverage.
Step 4: Braking
Using your Cycle Brake Cleaner spray directly onto braking components such as disks, pads or rims. Use a clean cloth to wipe away any excess dirt, a second application when first cleaning can also be a good idea to prevent brake noise.
Ensure your tyres are pumped up and then you’re good to go with a fresh, clean and smooth running bike!
